David Hicks leads the ProofEdit team. David is an experienced proof reader and copy writer. David worked as a headteacher for many years before working as a proof reader for school inspection reports in England and Wales. David also worked as a proof reader and copy writer for an English language newspaper in Spain, as well as managing the entire operation.
Barrie Mahoney worked as a headteacher and school inspector in England and Wales for many years before heading for a life in the sun. It was in Spain where he became a reporter and later Editor of a newly launched English language newspaper. Barrie is now a columnist, writer and published author.
Sheila Scott-Davies, also an experienced proof reader, is an established member of the ProofEdit team, now looking after a small number of clients with specific needs such as visual impairment.
Lisa Davies, Sheila’s daughter, looks after day-to-day correspondence and clients’ accounts. Lisa is also a well-qualified proofreader and journalist.
In addition, ProofEdit is able to draw upon the experience and expertise of a number of authors and proof readers as and when needed.
